Theory:

The absence of novelty is a tool of contemporary reliance.

Theory further explored:

This theory creates a question of whether there is anything new architecturally, due to the idea that we use constant references to create our ideal spaces. Whether they have an contemporary or fresh quality to them, how did the architect create that without reference to previous spaces and ideals that have been made or used.

I chose this theory in order to expose how the absence of novelty" is used as a positive tool for contemporary spaces, as this project was based off manipulating a floorplan curated by another architect, allowing us to use their ideas as a tool to create a dynamic and intriguing piece of architecture.

Floor plan:

Here I used the Floor-plan of the River Side Museum by the Architect, Zara Hadid.
